Our commitment
clarentweb is an accessibility-first web services company. Building accessible websites for small healthcare practices is what we do — and our own site is held to the same standard we deliver for clients. We believe every visitor, regardless of ability, has the right to navigate, understand, and act on the information we publish.
How this site is built
This website is designed and developed to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA criteria — the technical standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act, and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
Specifically, we apply the following practices across every page:
- Descriptive alternative text for non-decorative images
- Proper semantic HTML, heading order, and landmark regions
- Full keyboard operability with visible focus indicators
- Color contrast tested against WCAG 2.1 AA thresholds
- Form labels, accessible names, and ARIA attributes where appropriate
- Responsive layout that works at 320px width and supports browser zoom up to 200%
- Compatibility with screen readers and assistive technology
How we monitor accessibility
Our site is re-scanned regularly using the same AI-powered tooling and human review process we apply for client sites. Each scan covers WCAG 2.1 AA criteria; identified gaps are reviewed by a person and remediated directly in code.
Ongoing improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing process, not a finish line. While we work continuously to improve this site, some content or third-party embeds may not yet meet the strictest interpretation of every WCAG criterion. Where that's the case, we're actively working to remediate it.
If you encounter content on this site that's difficult to access — or any barrier that prevents you from using a feature — we want to know. Your feedback helps us improve, and we'll work to resolve any issue you report.
Report an accessibility issue
If you experience difficulty with any content on this site, or if you'd like to request information in an alternative format, please reach out and we'll respond within one business day.
